Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. For his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. -Psalm 1:1,2

Hey guys!
I'm going to talk about my compositions.
So far, there have been a few:
1. 4 Minors for String Orchestra
This set of pieces are based on the idea of minors, so the first one is in e minor, the second in g minor, and so on. I've finished the first two, but the com crashed so it's sort of gone... except that I have a hardcopy (thank God!) So anyway I might go an notate it onto soft copy once again(: This idea just popped into my mind during the EOYs, if you are interested in knowing when. This is my first composition on Finale Notepad (the best composition freeware on the planet, i think).
The first one in e minor is march-like, well sort of. And it is pretty accented. The second, in g minor, is sad, slow, draggy, and sarabande-ish. I like (:
2. A Light Suite for 4 winds and 4 strings
I've started on the allegro first movement, which has lots of echoing from the two sections. It is based on a fast, happy and lively theme in G major. I'm thinking how to continue it, haha!
3. A Perculiar Octet
Yes, that's its name. The orchestration? Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet, Bassoon, Bb Trumpet, Horn in F, Violin, Cello. I initially wanted to include harp (sorry laura) but I decided that it was too much of a hassle. It's a little baroque-sounding, maybe I should add in contemporary elements to reverse the effect. I'm at bar 10. Just finished the 1st phrase. It will very probably be in sonata form, which means the second theme should appear soon.
I'm too lazy to work on any others at the moment, will (hopefully) finish these first. For any other information about my compositions, you can email me (at my yahoo account), or im me (at my hotmail account). Bye for now!
