Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. For his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. -Psalm 1:1,2

serves you right fagin, ended up getting hanged!!
"oliver twist" (the play) was soooo good! i loved it to the bone! the actors could sing so well.. arh!
jubilee hall was brilliant too!
guess what happened to me!
right at the beginning, an actor drones on and on about that man fagin, then she comes to sit next to you (i sat in front, 1st row), asks you if you want the show to start, and then you nod your head in reply like a puppy? and everybody laughed. how cool was that? not to say terrifying!
well, what i basically want to say is - that show was a great experience.
the gallows and he coffin/door hung about, conveying the message of death throughout the story, through the eyes of fagin. how great a reminder of the hanging looms of death!
the story was so well crafted, the actors really got into their roles, their expression, body language and such all worked together to create a show not to be missed! i don't know how long the show will be in singapore, but i suggest you check it out.
go to sistic: oliver twist - jubilee hall [raffles hotel]
the actors are from london.
