i've read a short story which taught me a really important lesson. it goes like this:
there was a faithful minister called reverend bernard gilpin.
he lived in the time of queen mary, in england. as many of you might know, queen mary persecuted the christians at that time.
well, reverend gilpin was sent to london to be put to death. by god's providence, he happened to break his leg. he had to get medical treatment and he could not continue his journey to london.
soon after, while he was still in the hospital, queen mary died. her sister elizabeth, who was a protestant, became queen.
immediately, all persecution was stopped and reverend gilpin was saved!
how marvelous is god's power!
this story alone shows that god has everything planned. he knows what is going to happen to you tomorrow, next week, and so on. he even knows what you are thinking, and he knows what you are going to get for your next cct.
so trust in him, that whatever happens to you,
"it's all for the best!"
